Southern Club

1926

Hotel Schuyler
57-63 West 45th Street, New York, NY 10036

Delivered to Wm. J. Byrne

The Southern Club was formed in New York City in 1910 for the purpose of providing  a place of fraternity for Southerners living or visiting New York.  The Club was originally located in the Hotel Schuyler.  It is not clear if the Club was at this location in 1926, the year in which the chips were delivered.  No information to date has been found regarding William J. Byrne, the person to whom the chips were delivered.  Obviously more information is needed.
